3.18's Sentinel has already been out for a week, yet GGG has changed Path of Exile quite dramatically in that time! (Sure, ya. Technically it's the core game that's changed, not Sentinel, but they are closely tied together in this league.) One of us is still in the campaign while the other has already completed the atlas (you'll never guess which one of us is which). One of the cons to recording on league-launch-day is that the issues we discuss get fixed by the time the episode is released two days later. Let the 3.18 hype begin! Sentinel is just around the corner! And despite that, GGG is putting out patches to prep controller support and graphic updates as much as possible for launch. We recorded this episode in person, which we have only done once before (E100 with Tarke), and it was so fun we will likely do it again! It's an awesome addition to an already great 3.17 Archnemesis league. This week couldn't have been any better. 3.17's Archnemesis launch was smooth for us and it stayed that way. No nasty surprises. The patch improvements GGG made this week have been very welcome additions to the already amazing core Path of Exile game. Then, Elden Ring releases the night before we record so, we get to experience another smooth launch of an equally punishing game! But don't worry, we stayed on subject ;). The more you play content, the more you feel like a boss. New bosses, old bosses, Rare "bosses", crazy bosses... everywhere are boss bosses! 3.17 Archnemesis has been out a week and we've all had a good chance to get knee-deep into the content. Yup! That's right! GGG puts out a 20-second teaser for 3.17's end-game expansion and we have an hour of content. Even though we're going to miss saying Scourge, it's exciting to see what comes after 3.16. Path of Exile seems to be headed in a rock-solid direction and we can't wait to see how much of what they've teased for Siege of the Atlas will come to pass.
