Episode 117 is full of beautiful Path of Exile ramble. Well, that might be the chattiest we could have been for a non-busy GGG week! 3.16 Scourge is still going strong with its 10-day events, our Forever Exiled Private league just finished, and honestly...the theory crafting never ends for us True Path of Exile Nerds. Scourge has kept us going, hasn't it? These short endless leagues have been great at the end of 3.16. We've had some fun trying out these new scenarios and are excited for the ones that follow. But as GGG gets ready for Christmas, we put on our 10-day private league. These leaguely leagues are great sources of joy for us, especially during the holiday season, as we love seeing people die and fail ;-). Just kidding...kinda. It's been such a fun journey so far, getting used to the "new normal", as we brainstorm about different mechanics. We did it! We're a week into GGG's 3.16 league and we played so much Scourge, that we didn't even feel guilty loading up Age of Empires 4 (a 16-year wait!) for an evening. Well, that was a great surprise, hey? "Oh, by the way, Patch Notes will be posted after this video..." Wazaa wazaa whaaaaa? In Path of Exile Land, there are always goodies to discuss. GGG had a slow announcement week, so it gave us time to delve into some fun moments we had this week with our 3.15 private league. Yes! Episode 99, The Wayne Gretzky episode! What a great number :). We did this episode in person and as a result, the conversation went off the rails nice and quick :). This week in Path of Exile Land was a pretty unique one. GGG felt that some fires needed to be doused within the community regarding 3.15 and the overall state of the game. We got it! Expedition got the 3.15.1 patch. The non-letter patches are always a doozy. 15.1 wasn't as big as the mana cost change patch but GGG gave us some controversial changes (for some people) with tons of QOL improvements. It was a great week of news to discuss with so much content getting pushed that next week's episode will be just as jam-packed. Welp! It happened. We had some reversals. This week was a crazy week in Path of Exile Land! Massive amounts of patches (that's a good thing at the end of the day) and even a cool community event in the form of Twitch Rivals via Royale! But the big news of the week was GGG lowering the mana cost of supports and extending the duration of flask ailment immunities. We've been quite high on Expedition so far but 3.15 has changed so much we may have to restart ;). We're looking forward to things calmi...
