One Month to ExileCon 2026!
In one month, we'll find out all there is to know about the future of Path of Exile 1 and PoE 2! There hasn't been much noise from GGG lately, but that doesn't stop two nerds from their RNG hopes and dreams! We're looking forward for what's to come! Thanks for listening to episode 364!
With ExileCon 2026 only one month away, we’re trying to figure out what Grinding Gear Games might be saving for the event. GGG has been unusually quiet outside of the ExileCon race qualifiers, leaving us to speculate about the next Path of Exile 1 league, possible surprise announcements and what will be revealed before Path of Exile 2’s full release on December 11.
We also talk about the already-announced Duelist and swords, the possibility of additional classes, Ascendancies, weapon types and skills, and whether ExileCon could include a surprise PoE 1 league launch. How much should GGG reveal before the convention, and how much excitement should be saved for everyone watching live?
Of course, there’s still plenty of Path of Exile 2 theorycrafting along the way. We dig into Smith of Kitava versus Lich minion builds, Energy Shield, Minion Instability, Blasphemy, curses, Living Lightning, temporary minions, Spirit limitations and the endless cycle of spending gold to rebuild a character after only a few maps. We also share where we’re at with PoE 2’s current Ritual-focused content and why we’re ready to see what comes next.
What are you hoping GGG announces at ExileCon 2026?

01:01.489 --> 01:03.230
[SPEAKER_02]: Is it at least is that what it was that it was hot?
01:03.250 --> 01:22.344
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[SPEAKER_01]: that we do or that I do.
01:24.105 --> 01:24.605
[SPEAKER_01]: It's covered.
01:24.785 --> 01:26.826
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to do for a tongueburn pitch in.
01:27.206 --> 01:27.506
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
01:27.526 --> 01:28.367
[SPEAKER_02]: Keep with seconds given.
01:28.387 --> 01:29.067
[SPEAKER_02]: You probably don't.
01:29.447 --> 01:36.510
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how it's, I would just like in the States, but, you know, chaos costs me $7,000 to go to the hospital.
01:36.931 --> 01:37.551
[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen the pit.
01:37.711 --> 01:38.631
[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's chaos.
01:39.192 --> 01:40.272
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you ever watch your show?
01:40.752 --> 01:40.892
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
01:41.253 --> 01:41.793
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you should.
01:41.933 --> 01:42.613
[SPEAKER_02]: I think you'd like it.
01:42.933 --> 01:43.234
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
01:43.314 --> 01:43.614
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't.
01:45.382 --> 01:46.183
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know why I tell you guys.
01:46.203 --> 01:50.149
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know how many heartfelt conversations they're having in a 24-hour period?
01:50.249 --> 01:51.251
[SPEAKER_01]: No, thanks.
01:51.752 --> 01:52.072
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
01:52.353 --> 01:52.713
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
01:52.753 --> 01:53.154
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
01:53.294 --> 01:53.955
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
01:54.075 --> 01:58.662
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm reading the Selma Rillion with Ian and he's DNFingit, bastard, and...
01:59.698 --> 02:01.578
[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, wait, he's not finished.
02:01.598 --> 02:04.679
[SPEAKER_01]: Non-formy little one, like I wonder if non-racer fans.
02:04.759 --> 02:05.859
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, might not know what that means.
02:06.139 --> 02:06.879
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not sexual.
02:06.899 --> 02:07.199
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not.
02:07.219 --> 02:08.179
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not finished.
02:09.360 --> 02:10.700
[SPEAKER_01]: He could be sexual.
02:11.000 --> 02:14.401
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, right, anyway, he's de-enoughing the silver really in.
02:14.741 --> 02:15.161
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't like it.
02:15.181 --> 02:17.341
[SPEAKER_01]: He's talking like three pages.
02:17.761 --> 02:20.442
[SPEAKER_01]: There's like 3,000 years in between three pages.
02:21.022 --> 02:21.202
[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
02:21.942 --> 02:22.882
[SPEAKER_02]: That's good stuff.
02:23.922 --> 02:26.363
[SPEAKER_02]: How does this relate to the pit being a great show you should watch?
02:27.643 --> 02:28.303
[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't interest me.
02:29.618 --> 02:50.537
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you say trust me another watch 24 with the with whichever southernland it was key for southernland was it key for I never watched it I'd rather watch that what rather watch a crappy show the pit is so good you am telling you it's so good just Why would I like it don't be a turn because everyone should like it that's why
02:52.395 --> 02:53.396
[SPEAKER_02]: I like it, okay.
02:54.036 --> 02:55.837
[SPEAKER_02]: It is it's a cool show.
02:55.917 --> 02:58.798
[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's a whole day shift in a season.
02:59.358 --> 03:00.339
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh shut up, how's it week?
03:00.759 --> 03:03.680
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of great week.
03:04.701 --> 03:13.605
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, we're kind of watching a show that I am not we I really like the tech of shows like I love who don't it's right?
03:14.125 --> 03:15.926
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean maybe that's just because I was brought up on
03:19.527 --> 03:22.349
[SPEAKER_01]: Miss Marble or I mean, I don't murder she wrote.
03:22.369 --> 03:35.480
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like it's a Christie, but it murders she wrote or Matt Locke or her Ql Poirro And so like I just loved the murder mystery stuff and trying to figure things out and most of those were done so well because there's a way you could have figured it out if you were paying attention like that
03:36.200 --> 03:37.041
[SPEAKER_01]: real detective.
03:37.181 --> 03:39.303
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, not a surprise ending where you're like, what?
03:39.463 --> 03:44.707
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like it were, yeah, so anyway, but a lot of mystery or detective shows now.
03:44.747 --> 03:46.148
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, follow along.
03:46.288 --> 03:48.470
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not you can figure this out with them.
03:48.730 --> 03:50.952
[SPEAKER_01]: It's you have no hope of figuring it out.
03:51.052 --> 03:58.579
[SPEAKER_01]: So just follow the leader and then hey, look, look what they discovered, but you never we never put any hints or trails in it throughout the show where the movie would ever.
03:58.599 --> 03:58.939
[SPEAKER_01]: It would be.
04:01.595 --> 04:11.085
[SPEAKER_01]: And we really like a lot of Jason Bateman's stuff, but we're on episode Five of four or five of the outsider.
04:11.105 --> 04:12.807
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't know that.
04:12.847 --> 04:13.447
[SPEAKER_01]: It's on Crave.
04:13.648 --> 04:18.913
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's a Crave exclusive or not And I'm I'm not sure I'm not like it.
04:19.433 --> 04:22.276
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know like I just I want a detective show
04:23.938 --> 04:41.339
[SPEAKER_01]: that's a detective show like so many shows it's like you're supposed to care about the personal story of the detective that's not why i'm signing up there's a murder mystery and i want to figure it out before the detective does i feel so anyway so that's what we're watching right now and i'm so glad we're watching that instead of the pit
04:42.477 --> 04:43.337
[SPEAKER_02]: I think you'd like a bit more.
04:43.518 --> 04:48.460
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you ever watch the, what do they knives wide out or knives out or did you ever like those?
04:48.840 --> 04:49.300
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
04:49.400 --> 04:49.941
[SPEAKER_01]: They're fine.
04:50.321 --> 04:56.604
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they're, they're like that though, at least they don't surprise you in the end with something you never would have known.
04:56.924 --> 05:01.386
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, fun's the fun, I guess, is the word, but that's not fun's okay.
05:01.406 --> 05:03.807
[SPEAKER_01]: What I'm looking for when I'm in the mood for murder mystery.
05:04.088 --> 05:04.148
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm.
05:05.168 --> 05:13.300
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I need like blood guts lost anus is the outside or a TV show or movie It's a limited series.
05:13.641 --> 05:13.901
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
05:14.302 --> 05:15.984
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you found that's Aaron's favorite.
05:16.024 --> 05:17.026
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, we're halfway through.
05:17.046 --> 05:20.872
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe you don't get better You know, I'm hoping so, but Aaron and I are both like
05:22.341 --> 05:23.542
[SPEAKER_01]: better not end up this way.
05:24.503 --> 05:26.044
[SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't have to think about that at all.
05:26.304 --> 05:28.026
[SPEAKER_02]: Every episode I know.
05:28.366 --> 05:29.106
[SPEAKER_02]: He's watching next one.
05:30.067 --> 05:32.049
[SPEAKER_01]: Can't wait.
05:32.829 --> 05:33.470
[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
05:34.390 --> 05:36.472
[SPEAKER_01]: If anybody out there, I might have already seen them all.
05:36.772 --> 05:40.775
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe I've just exhausted my, maybe I just need to go to documentaries now.
05:40.875 --> 05:45.359
[SPEAKER_01]: But if anybody has any good recommendations on, I don't know, what do I have?
05:45.859 --> 05:48.161
[SPEAKER_01]: Crave, Netflix, Prime,
05:49.622 --> 05:51.463
[SPEAKER_01]: kind of have Apple, steel Apple.
05:53.565 --> 05:55.246
[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, I steal Paramount Plus.
05:55.726 --> 05:56.767
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's another one out there.
05:56.787 --> 05:57.627
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you go that CA?
05:59.028 --> 05:59.929
[SPEAKER_01]: That's CA.
06:00.589 --> 06:01.650
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I'm up for it.
06:02.110 --> 06:02.971
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about the story.
06:03.071 --> 06:04.112
[SPEAKER_01]: I care about the murder mystery.
06:04.492 --> 06:05.493
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to figure it out first.
06:05.993 --> 06:06.793
[SPEAKER_01]: But not because it's easy.
06:06.894 --> 06:08.134
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't care about the story.
06:08.475 --> 06:08.975
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you say?
06:10.022 --> 06:12.184
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's another big part of the murder mystery.
06:12.364 --> 06:19.209
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but now when we were watching Mind Hunter, right, about like figuring out serial killers and stuff, I'm watching to figure out like the all the serial killer stuff.
06:19.429 --> 06:19.669
[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
06:19.689 --> 06:22.732
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't care about the personal stories of the agents going through it.
06:23.232 --> 06:25.734
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you remember the book murder mysteries we used to do?
06:26.415 --> 06:29.217
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, uh, yes, I was actually just going through the series.
06:29.497 --> 06:33.320
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, murder murder mystery dinners and we'd all dress up and do these things.
06:33.340 --> 06:34.841
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I remember I was looking at pictures.
06:36.087 --> 06:37.208
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I saw some reasons, too.
06:37.288 --> 06:38.869
[SPEAKER_01]: Your brother had a different girlfriend for each one.
06:38.889 --> 06:39.310
[SPEAKER_01]: It was on.
06:40.130 --> 06:40.631
[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
06:40.751 --> 06:41.932
[SPEAKER_01]: He just flying through them.
06:42.432 --> 06:42.632
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
06:43.873 --> 06:44.054
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
06:44.294 --> 06:45.255
[SPEAKER_02]: He needs a lot.
06:45.775 --> 06:46.255
[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, that.
06:46.275 --> 06:47.657
[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna make it.
06:47.897 --> 06:49.178
[SPEAKER_02]: How long did you put in the microwave for?
06:51.878 --> 06:52.518
[SPEAKER_02]: $66.
06:53.339 --> 06:53.900
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
06:53.920 --> 06:54.961
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you actually you did?
06:54.981 --> 06:55.221
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
06:55.281 --> 06:55.381
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
06:55.421 --> 06:56.062
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything's $66.
06:56.082 --> 06:56.322
[SPEAKER_01]: $36.
06:56.362 --> 07:00.025
[SPEAKER_01]: What's the difficulty now on F1?
07:00.165 --> 07:03.068
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you guys racing on 55?
07:03.248 --> 07:04.269
[SPEAKER_01]: I was wondering.
07:04.309 --> 07:05.670
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been 55 since 2020.
07:05.690 --> 07:07.192
[SPEAKER_01]: Because it can only go to $66.
07:07.232 --> 07:12.096
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only, you know, the only other acceptable option is intervals of whatever year it is.
07:12.316 --> 07:16.100
[SPEAKER_01]: So F126, we could either do the 26 difficulty or 52.
07:17.738 --> 07:18.118
[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
07:18.498 --> 07:19.499
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's one more step up.
07:20.199 --> 07:22.000
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're not gonna do too well on that one.
07:22.600 --> 07:25.521
[SPEAKER_01]: We got a lot of, we got a lot of babies that want to finish on the podium.
07:26.061 --> 07:28.422
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, join me back and join your second.
07:28.502 --> 07:30.623
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you don't, yeah, but you don't finish though.
07:31.283 --> 07:31.603
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.
07:31.903 --> 07:36.124
[SPEAKER_01]: Ever since 2026 came out, no, no, that was 25 in the prior.
07:36.405 --> 07:40.526
[SPEAKER_01]: Since 26 came out with the new finish, and I can actually drive you a huge finish finish.
07:41.346 --> 07:42.687
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody loves it when I finish.
07:43.087 --> 07:43.507
[SPEAKER_01]: Tams.
07:44.808 --> 07:45.288
[SPEAKER_01]: Finishing.
07:46.248 --> 07:48.471
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, I was trying to make it laugh, but it didn't work.
07:49.132 --> 07:49.893
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't funny enough.
07:50.734 --> 07:51.856
[SPEAKER_01]: Salarius, I laughed inside.
07:52.076 --> 07:54.039
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, how is your, how are your GBs?
07:54.079 --> 07:54.980
[SPEAKER_01]: Are you, okay?
07:55.040 --> 07:57.404
[SPEAKER_01]: Cause you're stuttering on my end.
07:57.424 --> 08:00.909
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why I'd do such like you're on the lunar plan.
08:00.929 --> 08:02.090
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, not the lunar plan.
08:02.130 --> 08:02.851
[SPEAKER_01]: The lunar base.
08:03.572 --> 08:04.932
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's probably your GB's.
08:05.753 --> 08:07.173
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a 98, 99.
08:07.393 --> 08:08.313
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, me too.
08:09.093 --> 08:10.854
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that means anything.
08:10.974 --> 08:11.554
[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't.
08:12.074 --> 08:13.574
[SPEAKER_01]: No, so.
08:13.834 --> 08:16.735
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a high fives, just so you keep on talking and use their product.
08:17.195 --> 08:18.095
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
08:18.956 --> 08:20.936
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I have my rain jacket on.
08:21.216 --> 08:21.396
[SPEAKER_02]: What?
08:21.456 --> 08:22.997
[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on with that book, my guy?
08:23.937 --> 08:24.817
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I lost!
08:25.757 --> 08:27.358
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, shoot!
08:27.598 --> 08:29.518
[SPEAKER_02]: You had such a good one last week.
08:29.538 --> 08:30.258
[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
08:34.255 --> 08:34.455
[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
08:35.316 --> 08:35.516
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
08:36.016 --> 08:36.437
[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.
08:38.158 --> 08:39.839
[SPEAKER_02]: Could've done this beforehand, but that's fine.
08:40.760 --> 08:41.321
[SPEAKER_01]: No, this.
08:41.621 --> 08:44.523
[SPEAKER_01]: The grind is real, but you're leveling up like a pro.
08:45.264 --> 08:46.985
[SPEAKER_01]: Ha ha ha ha.
08:48.506 --> 08:50.068
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why that isn't there all the time.
08:51.148 --> 08:52.049
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a pit boy.
08:52.169 --> 08:53.951
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a pit boy.
08:54.291 --> 08:54.431
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
08:54.751 --> 08:54.952
[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
08:55.072 --> 08:56.333
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, audio only listeners.
08:56.373 --> 09:00.936
[SPEAKER_01]: There's, I don't know if it's ever like gone through for the audio only listeners,
09:02.285 --> 09:04.746
[SPEAKER_01]: is our only audience, YouTubers.
09:05.426 --> 09:10.247
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just, as I'm trying to fix my camera for the audio and the audience.
09:10.367 --> 09:14.048
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a book that my wife likes to constantly have displayed.
09:14.068 --> 09:17.549
[SPEAKER_01]: And I have no idea why because she's never said it's like her favorite book or anything like that.
09:17.769 --> 09:19.230
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the cover's cheesy.
09:19.270 --> 09:20.350
[SPEAKER_01]: She probably thinks it's cool.
09:20.930 --> 09:21.410
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll ask her.
09:21.811 --> 09:22.691
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, then we'll get in a fight.
09:23.071 --> 09:24.351
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a weird name.
09:24.451 --> 09:25.672
[SPEAKER_02]: I've always said the ocean.
09:25.712 --> 09:26.172
[SPEAKER_02]: What is that?
09:26.392 --> 09:27.872
[SPEAKER_02]: So I like, yeah.
09:27.892 --> 09:28.252
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
09:28.312 --> 09:28.953
[SPEAKER_01]: Moana.
09:29.093 --> 09:29.493
[SPEAKER_01]: And so.
09:30.773 --> 09:32.074
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I always like to cover it up.
09:32.094 --> 09:49.370
[SPEAKER_01]: She always likes to have it in the background for broadcasts, and I always like to cover it up just to piss her off And this is a way better fit and I forget often so now I have her hour my I think it's hers pit boy from the early 2000s when I was like from it was cool follow three right.
09:49.750 --> 09:54.534
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was follow three could be followed for because that's quite ancient now to it might actually have been for
09:56.515 --> 09:57.356
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, pretty fun though.
09:57.877 --> 10:02.463
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a stage of life just and where games were sold only physically.
10:03.284 --> 10:04.586
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, good times.
10:05.527 --> 10:07.850
[SPEAKER_01]: You could buy special editions that came with physical.
10:07.890 --> 10:10.453
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to go like midnight that weren't $250 Hoodies GGG
10:13.257 --> 10:16.218
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, yeah, it was a good time.
10:16.298 --> 10:17.038
[SPEAKER_01]: Good time.
10:17.358 --> 10:18.078
[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
10:18.098 --> 10:20.398
[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be like an extra 20 bucks, right?
10:20.418 --> 10:22.859
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember the Assassin's Creed 1 special edition.
10:23.099 --> 10:23.919
[SPEAKER_01]: Extra 20 bucks.
10:24.619 --> 10:26.420
[SPEAKER_01]: Came at the statue of Altaier.
10:26.880 --> 10:27.580
[SPEAKER_01]: Was it Altaier?
10:27.720 --> 10:28.820
[SPEAKER_01]: It was at only 20 bucks.
10:29.120 --> 10:29.500
[SPEAKER_01]: No way.
10:29.520 --> 10:31.161
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I had it in my fish tank.
10:31.641 --> 10:33.141
[SPEAKER_01]: I do remember your statue, but I can.
10:33.181 --> 10:37.362
[SPEAKER_01]: We had the Tomb Raider 1 because that also came with a figurine nice like 12 inches.
10:37.442 --> 10:40.363
[SPEAKER_01]: So she was in there hunting, both of the metal bow and arrows.
10:43.223 --> 10:51.227
[SPEAKER_01]: Not allowed ever since we flooded the water in the house if I want to have a drink of water Got to use the hose outside With a drink.
10:51.887 --> 10:52.588
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
10:52.988 --> 10:54.729
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not allowed to fish tank anymore.
10:55.069 --> 11:10.977
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the health for it I love fish tanks man and I would have loved to get into salt water But never had the income for that, but oh man I had so many different kinds of fresh water tanks and man did I love it But it's it's physically too much for me to clean once a week carrying the water and
11:12.177 --> 11:25.681
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have just my brain stuff, I zone out for one second and if I use any of the contraptions that you use to replace the buckets and you just transfer the water from the sink directly to the tank, I don't trust myself enough to stay focused long enough to not overflow and damage stuff.
11:25.701 --> 11:26.061
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's fine.
11:26.081 --> 11:35.703
[SPEAKER_01]: Say this, my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my, this is my
11:35.843 --> 11:39.165
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh, I don't know what we were talking about, but how are you doing?
11:39.185 --> 11:39.705
[SPEAKER_02]: How was your week?
11:40.266 --> 11:41.266
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, well, you week was good.
11:41.326 --> 11:43.207
[SPEAKER_02]: We uh, what did we do?
11:43.227 --> 11:44.908
[SPEAKER_02]: We had a wall built outside of our house?
11:45.929 --> 11:46.229
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
11:46.249 --> 11:46.970
[SPEAKER_01]: So that is finished.
11:47.210 --> 11:49.891
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, you finished uh, yesterday.
11:51.072 --> 11:52.533
[SPEAKER_02]: So no two days ago.
11:52.973 --> 11:53.534
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no yesterday.
11:53.634 --> 11:54.094
[SPEAKER_02]: You finished.
11:54.114 --> 12:00.518
[SPEAKER_02]: You put in because now it's now we have actual flower bed on the front part of our house on the right time.
12:00.938 --> 12:03.520
[SPEAKER_02]: So because it raised up so he's got soil so then
12:04.400 --> 12:07.882
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what we're seeing as doing with it, but now there's actual garden space.
12:08.823 --> 12:10.464
[SPEAKER_02]: And what else do we do?
12:11.084 --> 12:12.965
[SPEAKER_02]: We're almost done, house of the dragons.
12:13.826 --> 12:14.967
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll finish it probably this week.
12:15.287 --> 12:16.888
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay, how many seasons is that?
12:17.108 --> 12:19.029
[SPEAKER_02]: It's only three, but they're only eight episodes.
12:19.830 --> 12:21.191
[SPEAKER_02]: So we usually watch two per night.
12:21.611 --> 12:23.152
[SPEAKER_02]: And, um, fun.
12:23.552 --> 12:23.892
[SPEAKER_02]: Good show.
12:24.593 --> 12:24.793
[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
12:25.099 --> 12:27.202
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, I don't even know if it continues on.
12:27.262 --> 12:29.485
[SPEAKER_02]: I assume it does, but I really have no idea.
12:30.126 --> 12:32.049
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, all the narrows shows up at some point.
12:32.089 --> 12:34.733
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if in the show, but you know, shows up in the other one.
12:35.374 --> 12:37.777
[SPEAKER_02]: They had flashbacks in season.
12:39.315 --> 13:02.692
[SPEAKER_02]: or flash four words to game thrones really almost like visions is sort of how it was played it was quite interesting and did they have the actual actors or were they legit clips from the show it was actual clip like you see I don't know if you remember the what you would remember in game thrones the scene where Daenerys has like the three dragons sort of like small dragons come off of her
13:06.354 --> 13:09.136
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right after she burns all the, right, all the ladies.
13:09.416 --> 13:09.576
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
13:09.836 --> 13:11.017
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the end of season one.
13:11.237 --> 13:14.660
[SPEAKER_02]: So you sort of see that, like a flash of that.
13:14.820 --> 13:16.981
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was quite interesting how it ties into the story.
13:17.021 --> 13:24.286
[SPEAKER_02]: But you're, I don't even know how many hundreds of years or hundreds of years, or if it's like, I don't know, I don't know how far they're back.
13:24.326 --> 13:27.068
[SPEAKER_02]: It is from the Game of the Character is right.
13:27.745 --> 13:31.587
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the thing is they say names and I'm like, I might have heard that name like Aegon.
13:31.967 --> 13:35.068
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure I've heard Aegon, but I already know there's two in this series.
13:35.729 --> 13:36.629
[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know Aegon's.
13:36.869 --> 13:39.831
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I don't know if there's, if there's the real king.
13:40.571 --> 13:48.214
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know because if he's in it, then there's a, you know, that's your only generation away from Daenerys.
13:49.115 --> 13:51.096
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, but there's two Aegons, though.
13:52.163 --> 13:53.183
[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't really know.
13:53.263 --> 13:55.524
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not sure I haven't quite figured out.
13:55.544 --> 13:56.384
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure I'm just stupid.
13:56.424 --> 13:57.524
[SPEAKER_02]: It's probably very obvious.
13:57.564 --> 13:59.024
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't, I don't care.
13:59.104 --> 14:00.124
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not sure.
14:00.404 --> 14:01.185
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm watching Targaryen.
14:01.225 --> 14:01.805
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
14:01.865 --> 14:06.225
[SPEAKER_02]: Unless you do like, I need a deep, what's the movie we watch?
14:06.245 --> 14:08.346
[SPEAKER_02]: The TV show, dark.
14:08.466 --> 14:09.846
[SPEAKER_02]: I need a website for that.
14:09.906 --> 14:10.386
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right.
14:10.526 --> 14:12.587
[SPEAKER_02]: Give me all the ties of how people connect to each other.
14:12.967 --> 14:13.607
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm into that.
14:14.107 --> 14:14.307
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
14:14.407 --> 14:17.947
[SPEAKER_01]: It dude, if you're preaching that right now, you'd get an amen from the back from, right?
14:18.348 --> 14:19.088
[SPEAKER_02]: Just in the one guy.
14:19.148 --> 14:19.768
[SPEAKER_02]: You badge.
14:20.208 --> 14:20.868
[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.
14:21.168 --> 14:24.772
[SPEAKER_02]: Hallelujah, and then what else do I do this week?
14:24.792 --> 14:25.353
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just work.
14:25.393 --> 14:34.422
[SPEAKER_02]: I played I played some wow for every yeah still play in that But then I also spent that subscription Yeah, wow is always subscription.
14:34.482 --> 14:35.984
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean you don't like it's so easy.
14:36.104 --> 14:39.548
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a subscription because I paid to play the game and it can't have such a
14:42.488 --> 15:02.594
[SPEAKER_02]: games free for me because it's for the free ticket yeah uh so it will be it will be free to people who have a subscription once it comes out so it's not like it's a pay extra to play it but um you do have to pay a subscription uh yeah to play but um so that's been fun and then I played we had uh Wednesday was a holiday in Canada so I played uh
15:04.263 --> 15:18.789
[SPEAKER_02]: Minecraft Dungeons 2 with with Logan he wanted to play it so we bought it for the kids as well Yeah, we played that for most of the day actually on Wednesday him and I just ran through and played it played on controller so fun.
15:19.529 --> 15:27.832
[SPEAKER_01]: I I'm trying wow on controller because oh, yeah I saw somebody showed that out in our discord that it now has controller support
15:28.267 --> 15:29.968
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I was like, well, I'm gonna try it.
15:30.048 --> 15:34.170
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll make a brand new character and start with a controller and see how it goes.
15:34.210 --> 15:37.071
[SPEAKER_02]: So I played a hunter with a controller.
15:37.372 --> 15:41.654
[SPEAKER_02]: The whole, the whole, I played up to like low 14 or 15, all in controller.
15:42.134 --> 15:43.915
[SPEAKER_02]: It was actually pretty good surprisingly.
15:44.115 --> 15:46.456
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I'd prefer it because it's a game.
15:46.576 --> 15:47.517
[SPEAKER_02]: I just feel like I'm better.
15:48.117 --> 16:05.560
[SPEAKER_01]: moving around quicker with keeper to most you have a long it like if it's similar game play style you have a long history of that game with mnk so it's yeah it's hard not really to it's different because it's a very different game like you don't actually feel like you're playing until you get to inventory you don't feel like you're playing the same game so i could see
16:06.481 --> 16:06.961
[SPEAKER_01]: I can see that.
16:07.302 --> 16:08.402
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is fun though.
16:08.442 --> 16:18.368
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's if I had to set up where like I've I've read people that are doing it that it's on their TV and they're on their couch or their late they're chilling in bed, but then I would be really cool to have it.
16:18.428 --> 16:20.069
[SPEAKER_02]: For me, I'm sitting right here.
16:20.589 --> 16:21.810
[SPEAKER_02]: My keyboard and mouse are right here.
16:21.910 --> 16:25.572
[SPEAKER_02]: So like I don't know why it's fine in Path of Exile.
16:25.632 --> 16:26.812
[SPEAKER_02]: And wow, it's not bad.
16:27.193 --> 16:31.955
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a really good layout, but I just feel like I'm faster even though I don't know why I need to be faster.
16:31.975 --> 16:32.936
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really sure I can't.
16:34.003 --> 16:43.869
[SPEAKER_02]: There's something cumbersome, like if you're fighting as a rogue and you need to backstab an enemy, to move through them and quickly turn with your mouse and keep with your mouse very simple.
16:44.029 --> 16:44.529
[SPEAKER_02]: Really quick.
16:44.990 --> 16:50.433
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I could do it fast enough with the controller without having the sensitivity so high up that it makes me feel sick.
16:51.865 --> 16:56.327
[SPEAKER_02]: if it's been, so it is funny too that I'm still an inverted controller player.
16:57.027 --> 16:59.749
[SPEAKER_01]: 100% my wife got to my kids first with that.
17:00.009 --> 17:03.771
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh no, I'm the only inverted in the family, only one.
17:04.051 --> 17:04.911
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I might be too.
17:05.832 --> 17:06.532
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.
17:06.552 --> 17:07.612
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why.
17:07.752 --> 17:09.333
[SPEAKER_01]: It should be the 11th commandment.
17:10.134 --> 17:12.615
[SPEAKER_02]: I was trying to figure that out when I was talking with Logan.
17:13.835 --> 17:14.095
[SPEAKER_02]: What?
17:15.216 --> 17:16.757
[SPEAKER_02]: What is it about our
17:18.052 --> 17:21.093
[SPEAKER_02]: Like inverted doesn't make sense even though I love it.
17:21.193 --> 17:30.178
[SPEAKER_01]: I prefer it inverted makes perfect sense to me But what what what I'm starting to invert it Plains Why okay, that's okay.
17:30.198 --> 17:33.439
[SPEAKER_01]: I know play But no like all the all the flying games.
17:33.919 --> 17:45.045
[SPEAKER_01]: I know but emulator had been around in the same way like you get Microsoft golf Microsoft simulator You play it all you're in the deep stuff Where it's like all right, could your plants running coming down the way along the way was that inverted though.
17:45.565 --> 17:45.765
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
17:46.919 --> 17:48.522
[SPEAKER_01]: Can you get your joystick?
17:48.943 --> 17:51.930
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not pushing for it to go, woohoo!
17:52.898 --> 17:54.558
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know, it's very weird.
17:54.698 --> 17:57.579
[SPEAKER_02]: I definitely cannot, I started playing wow and it was not inverted.
17:57.599 --> 17:59.119
[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, oh, this is making me sick.
17:59.219 --> 18:00.599
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't, like, I can't play.
18:00.619 --> 18:02.900
[SPEAKER_02]: And it wouldn't let me change it because the game kept crashing.
18:02.940 --> 18:07.321
[SPEAKER_02]: Every time I changed something to menu, it's in, like, their controller is in alpha.
18:08.221 --> 18:10.741
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, this, the ability to use the gamepad.
18:11.401 --> 18:13.302
[SPEAKER_02]: It's 100% coming out to consoles.
18:13.322 --> 18:18.423
[SPEAKER_02]: So I guarantee they're doing this for consoles, because they could probably make a little more money.
18:20.663 --> 18:24.247
[SPEAKER_02]: But I defaulted to not inverted, and I was like, I can't do this.
18:24.407 --> 18:25.448
[SPEAKER_02]: This is making me angry.
18:25.568 --> 18:26.129
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
18:26.309 --> 18:30.413
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm trying to, you know how dumb you feel when you play a game that you can't go inverted.
18:30.974 --> 18:33.557
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'll never know how dumb you feel, but yeah, I do.
18:33.857 --> 18:35.278
[SPEAKER_02]: I do understand the invariant.
18:35.919 --> 18:40.904
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't, I don't understand why my brain cannot process.
18:42.528 --> 18:46.113
[SPEAKER_02]: run forward with the left and if you want to look up, just press up on the right one.
18:46.233 --> 18:47.515
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't do it.
18:48.036 --> 18:51.000
[SPEAKER_02]: And then all of a sudden you look at me playing and you're like, wow, you suck.
18:51.061 --> 18:52.022
[SPEAKER_02]: What is wrong with me?
18:52.082 --> 18:53.965
[SPEAKER_00]: It's because my hands are in my mouth!
18:57.109 --> 19:00.450
[SPEAKER_01]: Shootin' stupid clowns or busting your toes off.
19:00.690 --> 19:03.291
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's what got me a trouble in Halo with Christina.
19:03.431 --> 19:08.772
[SPEAKER_02]: I tried to get Halo to play games or to get Christina to play games with me back in Halo one days.
19:09.592 --> 19:21.916
[SPEAKER_02]: And I had inverted on and I was playing with her and I was like, yeah, would you play a little bit like, do this and she was trying to get the controls and I didn't mean to be a turd, but I got a bit bored and I was just waiting for her to figure it out so I just kept taking pot shots.
19:23.136 --> 19:25.538
[SPEAKER_02]: And she's trying to figure out the stew.
19:25.598 --> 19:27.419
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't realize she doesn't play not inverted.
19:27.839 --> 19:28.600
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was my fault.
19:28.640 --> 19:30.141
[SPEAKER_02]: And now I'm never allowed to play games anymore.
19:30.481 --> 19:31.742
[SPEAKER_02]: Because if they have a controller.
19:31.762 --> 19:31.922
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
19:32.422 --> 19:33.803
[SPEAKER_01]: Now you're stuck with Mario Kart.
19:33.823 --> 19:34.664
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a Mario Kart.
19:35.124 --> 19:36.205
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take Mario Kart.
19:36.785 --> 19:37.265
[SPEAKER_02]: Not Sonic.
19:37.626 --> 19:37.866
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
19:38.966 --> 19:39.387
[SPEAKER_02]: Played wild.
19:39.427 --> 19:40.527
[SPEAKER_02]: Played Minecraft Dungeons.
19:43.369 --> 19:45.290
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember the first Minecraft Dungeons.
19:45.430 --> 19:47.432
[SPEAKER_02]: But Minecraft Dungeons too was fine.
19:48.527 --> 19:49.067
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you guys play it?
19:49.087 --> 19:49.767
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot better.
19:50.228 --> 19:53.249
[SPEAKER_01]: No, all of us played it and I've seen him play it.
19:53.609 --> 19:55.409
[SPEAKER_01]: And violence played it too.
19:55.749 --> 19:59.530
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's open world, you know what I mean?
19:59.550 --> 20:01.831
[SPEAKER_01]: You're not like selecting a location to go to.
20:01.911 --> 20:03.392
[SPEAKER_01]: It's open world, which is really cool.
20:04.744 --> 20:10.607
[SPEAKER_01]: uh, and they've added jump to it, uh, Logan told me that, which is kind of a bit of a error.
20:10.627 --> 20:22.733
[SPEAKER_01]: Just how you interact with skills and exploring the environment, so there's a lot of really cool additions that they've done, but then they've kept the same core, uh, like where skills come from, like it comes from your items and your gear and that kind of stuff.
20:22.773 --> 20:28.956
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, um, yeah, it just seems like they kept what was good and built on it, which is really neat.
20:29.718 --> 20:31.702
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so yeah, it was fun.
20:31.802 --> 20:32.865
[SPEAKER_02]: We played it for a while.
20:32.965 --> 20:33.746
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really know
20:35.102 --> 20:36.102
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really understand it.
20:36.142 --> 20:39.984
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I don't know the idea of having a build or like going into direction.
20:40.264 --> 20:43.505
[SPEAKER_02]: The thing that's kind of cool is you are by yourself even in a party.
20:43.525 --> 20:46.746
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm playing with Logan, but my stuff is my stuff.
20:47.646 --> 20:48.506
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no sharing drop.
20:48.526 --> 20:49.387
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no sharing.
20:49.407 --> 20:50.927
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no my drops or my drops.
20:50.947 --> 20:52.228
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm building my character.
20:52.268 --> 20:52.828
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to build it.
20:53.228 --> 20:53.968
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's kind of fun.
20:54.148 --> 20:54.768
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
20:54.788 --> 20:54.888
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
20:55.889 --> 20:57.029
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
20:57.669 --> 20:58.129
[SPEAKER_02]: We're back.
20:58.169 --> 20:58.750
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, hey.
20:59.550 --> 21:01.110
[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, my wife came home from work.
21:01.150 --> 21:02.231
[SPEAKER_02]: So I was just making sure everything's fine.
21:03.600 --> 21:04.280
[SPEAKER_02]: pregnant again.
21:04.300 --> 21:08.362
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, JK never again.
21:08.382 --> 21:10.723
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, not for me.
21:12.303 --> 21:14.064
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so yeah, the game was fun.
21:14.084 --> 21:16.065
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't, I don't know.
21:16.445 --> 21:16.785
[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
21:16.865 --> 21:17.865
[SPEAKER_02]: It was fun to play it with him.
21:18.345 --> 21:23.227
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll probably play a little bit more heave than played more on his own because he really liked it.
21:23.267 --> 21:23.947
[SPEAKER_02]: But good game.
21:23.967 --> 21:24.808
[SPEAKER_02]: That meant weeks been good.
21:25.108 --> 21:25.548
[SPEAKER_02]: Life's good.
21:25.868 --> 21:26.348
[SPEAKER_02]: Good, man.
21:26.508 --> 21:26.709
[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
21:27.029 --> 21:27.949
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, glad to hear it.
21:29.158 --> 21:33.859
[SPEAKER_02]: So glad to hear what's happening in Path of Excel and because it's probably a little
21:34.907 --> 21:58.446
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there was one patch which I was surprised like I was I've been playing path to not as much in game play but going through trying stuff out Not liking something liking something trying to figure out just a good balance between paper and actual gameplay and going through different options and so Been enjoying that and been going through that with my son, which is a lot of fun But then all of a sudden one day I'm loading up the game and it couldn't load because there was a patch.
21:58.466 --> 21:59.466
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, it's going on.
21:59.787 --> 22:00.667
[SPEAKER_00]: There's small fixes.
22:00.968 --> 22:01.348
[SPEAKER_00]: That's cool
22:01.468 --> 22:04.009
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a list of like 20 fixes or something like that, so that's neat.
22:04.270 --> 22:05.110
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the D patch, right?
22:05.150 --> 22:05.550
[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that.
22:05.690 --> 22:11.694
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that was literally everything except for a post about, um, race qualifier event final.
22:12.214 --> 22:16.176
[SPEAKER_02]: You watched it on Twitter that they have they teased anything, isn't it?
22:16.596 --> 22:17.217
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, nothing.
22:17.557 --> 22:18.658
[SPEAKER_02]: It's, it's dead.
22:18.818 --> 22:19.238
[SPEAKER_02]: Interesting.
22:19.318 --> 22:19.978
[SPEAKER_01]: It's confusing.
22:20.319 --> 22:22.700
[SPEAKER_00]: Not a criticism, but it just doesn't, I don't know.
22:23.622 --> 22:29.124
[SPEAKER_01]: You're a month away from ExileCon, like it's literally a month away coming up to that's one month away.
22:29.924 --> 22:32.624
[SPEAKER_02]: Huh, they must be, there must be something coming to you.
22:32.644 --> 22:42.247
[SPEAKER_01]: Just a regular league launch, there's crazy hype, like one month you're already like a weekend to heavy teasers and that kind of stuff.
22:42.267 --> 22:49.849
[SPEAKER_01]: No granted, of course you want ExileCon to be big, but in the past, like it's been like, oh, look at what they're revealing ahead of time.
22:49.869 --> 22:51.990
[SPEAKER_01]: What are they saving for ExileCon kind of thing, right?
22:52.730 --> 23:19.019
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they are saving a lot of it for Excel Con, and maybe, but the other impression that I get, and unfortunately it's not overly positive, not really my fault, it's just how they announced the last one, it was like, hey, we have a big announcement, oh wait, we weren't ready for our announcement, and it's last time that they just, yeah, not, not an Excel Con, but the last, you know, purely two thing, and so maybe it's like that, where they're not sure what's going to be available or not, you don't want to tease too much or too little,
23:19.859 --> 23:25.581
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, at the same time, I'm one of those people where I'm just talking like how GGG's been in the past.
23:25.601 --> 23:28.562
[SPEAKER_01]: They've normally done like a good full month of teasing, right?
23:28.963 --> 23:32.704
[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas I'm the kind of guy where it's like, I don't need to know a movie's coming out six months ahead of time.
23:33.524 --> 23:38.426
[SPEAKER_01]: So sure, we're only a month away from Excel, but I'm fine if you don't start teasing like if it's sold out, it's sold out.
23:38.846 --> 23:42.888
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone else doesn't care because it's just watching on Twitch, so they only need like a one week notice.
23:43.749 --> 23:46.371
[SPEAKER_01]: And if they miss the twitch thing, okay, fine, it's on YouTube later, right?
23:46.391 --> 23:51.537
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm fine with like those little teasers to hype you up, just like a week ahead of time.
23:51.637 --> 23:52.578
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need it in month ahead.
23:52.618 --> 23:54.040
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just not very...
23:55.434 --> 23:57.995
[SPEAKER_01]: old school GGG, the way that we're used to GGG being.
23:58.395 --> 24:07.259
[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, it's, yeah, it's all quiet on the New Zealand front and uh, when did the POE-1 league 329 start?
24:07.339 --> 24:08.080
[SPEAKER_02]: How do you find that?
24:08.320 --> 24:11.001
[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm like about those questions live, check face.
24:11.081 --> 24:11.921
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's hilarious.
24:12.041 --> 24:14.542
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, where I don't go, the path of XL website.
24:15.003 --> 24:15.683
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to the wiki.
24:17.242 --> 24:19.444
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, leagues.
24:19.784 --> 24:21.085
[SPEAKER_01]: You go, yeah, on site.
24:21.145 --> 24:23.206
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I didn't really want to know what I'm going to do.
24:23.306 --> 24:38.215
[SPEAKER_02]: All flame was July 24th, okay, so this is, I'm just curious that we're not seeing something that is teasing the upcoming 3.3, like we can take out X alcohol and you can take up you, we too, because the true life is 24th.
24:38.475 --> 24:39.056
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you said.
24:39.356 --> 24:43.118
[SPEAKER_02]: You can confirm, gosh, I'm always right.
24:43.138 --> 24:44.839
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry, that's what you said, I'm right.
24:45.299 --> 24:46.020
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, now I get it.
24:48.541 --> 24:50.002
[SPEAKER_02]: That's all you're on, Team Aaron.
24:51.323 --> 24:54.166
[SPEAKER_02]: They, one month, two months, okay.
24:54.206 --> 24:57.929
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's been two months, two months, but like nothing about 3.3.
24:58.009 --> 25:06.576
[SPEAKER_02]: I can understand nothing for POE 2 because they probably want teasers to come out closer to POE 2 and they have to be holding stuff for XLCon.
25:06.596 --> 25:10.999
[SPEAKER_02]: They just, there's gotta be some cool announcements or something fun somewhere in there.
25:11.079 --> 25:16.604
[SPEAKER_02]: Even if it's not major, I can see them holding on to some, you know, exciting POE 2 stuff.
25:17.845 --> 25:43.659
[SPEAKER_02]: But they work getting close to when an announcement should come for another POE one league if they're going to do one because it's not like they do an announcement and then the league starts they do an announcement of an announcement and then you've got a week and then they do the live stream and then you've got a week and then you're playing so there's really like a two to three week window from the time that they make that announcement of the announcement so it's just surprising to me that there hasn't been anything yet.
25:45.138 --> 25:46.619
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I agree.
25:46.799 --> 25:54.366
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if the announcement is a set just setting your expectations for a timeline, even if it's a delayed timeline, right?
25:54.466 --> 25:58.790
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, when's past two coming out December?
25:58.810 --> 26:00.151
[SPEAKER_01]: Hang on, I'm going to go to the path.
26:00.211 --> 26:02.413
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm going to the path to website.
26:03.093 --> 26:03.554
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
26:03.574 --> 26:07.817
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll go your face first so that your camera can just like, Oh, is it wiggin' out?
26:07.937 --> 26:08.658
[SPEAKER_01]: Here, let me, uh.
26:08.978 --> 26:10.940
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, why don't I look for you?
26:11.141 --> 26:12.522
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't even know where you would find that.
26:12.622 --> 26:14.104
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on the Path of Exile 2 website.
26:14.424 --> 26:14.885
[SPEAKER_02]: Does that help?
26:14.905 --> 26:17.508
[SPEAKER_02]: It says, really I'm looking for help.
26:17.949 --> 26:18.709
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, full release.
26:18.749 --> 26:19.450
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just click on that.
26:20.629 --> 26:24.631
[SPEAKER_02]: Full like a full for you to play December a lot when it comes out.
26:25.131 --> 26:33.055
[SPEAKER_02]: I love a good full release Does that I'm like the full does that help you December 11 Yeah December 11 is pretty specific.
26:33.075 --> 26:33.976
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thanks.
26:34.436 --> 26:34.596
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
26:34.836 --> 26:35.196
[SPEAKER_02]: I got it.
26:35.456 --> 26:44.441
[SPEAKER_01]: You know it's funny when I go to the website It's doing the cash clearing thing again It's saying early access is now live.
26:45.081 --> 26:47.222
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's what happened on my cash for the website
26:48.748 --> 26:49.809
[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's what mind does too.
26:49.869 --> 26:54.991
[SPEAKER_02]: When I go to pathofxl2.com by default for some reason, it goes to the slash early access.
26:55.011 --> 26:59.133
[SPEAKER_02]: But if I click path of xl, the symbol in the center, then it takes me to the home.
26:59.373 --> 27:00.374
[SPEAKER_02]: That is actually very weird.
27:00.394 --> 27:01.174
[SPEAKER_02]: Why would they do that?
27:01.815 --> 27:07.217
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, path of xl2 is not the home or full release, which is register.
27:07.518 --> 27:12.840
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the early access page for some reason is where I want to get you back about that launch date.
27:13.080 --> 27:13.581
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's odd.
27:14.597 --> 27:14.997
[SPEAKER_02]: Crazy.
27:15.097 --> 27:15.337
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
27:15.378 --> 27:15.918
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, whatever.
27:16.178 --> 27:18.399
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, December 11 is Wednesday.
27:18.479 --> 27:23.763
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so what are you doing if you're GGG with path one December 11 to do a three.
27:23.783 --> 27:27.065
[SPEAKER_01]: That just like signfeld would say that's your date.
27:27.385 --> 27:29.086
[SPEAKER_01]: That's oh, I should do it.
27:29.126 --> 27:29.366
[SPEAKER_02]: God.
27:29.406 --> 27:30.407
[SPEAKER_02]: If that ever changes.
27:30.627 --> 27:36.291
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that that they can't change, but they are I'm completely confident they're coming in
27:38.138 --> 27:41.860
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think we've talked about it, GTA 6 released date.
27:42.360 --> 27:43.580
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that's just a big question mark.
27:43.600 --> 27:46.021
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's November 12, it's a month ahead of time.
27:47.022 --> 27:48.022
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, preload date.
27:48.242 --> 27:52.304
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, early access, November 12, November 19.
27:52.344 --> 27:53.945
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so it's like three weeks ahead.
27:54.145 --> 27:54.605
[SPEAKER_01]: No big deal.
27:54.905 --> 28:00.908
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think that October has to have a POE one.
28:01.528 --> 28:03.749
[SPEAKER_02]: That's one 3.3 to me makes the most sense.
28:05.377 --> 28:07.041
[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, does it though, it's August to sit.
28:07.222 --> 28:12.033
[SPEAKER_02]: That's three months for the POE-1, 3.29, oh man, that's tough.
28:12.053 --> 28:15.241
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, if you're doing it for money, you do it in October, but you're already late.
28:16.791 --> 28:17.971
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, thanks.
28:17.991 --> 28:18.291
[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks.
28:18.311 --> 28:18.511
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
28:18.731 --> 28:19.352
[SPEAKER_01]: End of votive.
28:19.772 --> 28:28.973
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when giving is a number, the big money maker, but that's November, and that's really close to when puity's launch date is.
28:29.114 --> 28:32.974
[SPEAKER_01]: So you kind of miss that window just because you're prioritizing puity to, okay, cool.
28:33.714 --> 28:41.016
[SPEAKER_01]: You could have an event, you know, like one of those delving events, but I told people in discord, it's going to be the 3.3 is going to be a ritual event.
28:41.556 --> 28:44.098
[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly it's a prize.
28:44.838 --> 28:45.979
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
28:46.599 --> 28:47.660
[SPEAKER_02]: So then what else do you do?
28:48.200 --> 28:53.723
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what, maybe there is benefit to them putting it further into end of October early November.
28:53.823 --> 29:00.207
[SPEAKER_02]: Even though that competes with GTA, which probably isn't a great idea, but maybe it gives you the best hype leading up to December.
29:00.227 --> 29:01.188
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really sure what.
29:01.908 --> 29:02.849
[SPEAKER_02]: No, you buy it though.
29:02.889 --> 29:03.809
[SPEAKER_02]: Not what exalcon.
29:04.069 --> 29:04.590
[SPEAKER_02]: You just can't.
29:04.610 --> 29:05.330
[SPEAKER_02]: When's exalcon?
29:05.390 --> 29:06.491
[SPEAKER_02]: Is it the beginning of November?
29:06.831 --> 29:07.792
[SPEAKER_02]: That is first week.
29:08.652 --> 29:11.254
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I'm first weekend like six, seven, eight, something like that.
29:11.675 --> 29:16.419
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe maybe Excel Con is like, hey, here's the 3.3 league launching today.
29:16.439 --> 29:22.704
[SPEAKER_02]: It can't be a full league because it would be, well, it could be a full league because people don't have to play Path of Excel too.
29:23.304 --> 29:26.507
[SPEAKER_01]: But there are money obviously drastically drops, but you're looking at a month.
29:26.527 --> 29:27.768
[SPEAKER_01]: Like you want a month.
29:29.043 --> 29:32.866
[SPEAKER_01]: to make that give you like the income they get it barely gives them a month.
29:33.626 --> 29:44.193
[SPEAKER_02]: But you will probably have no bigger hype period of time for them than during an Excel con and prior to POE 2's release.
29:44.553 --> 29:49.937
[SPEAKER_02]: So you possibly could benefit from that and you're just going knowing that you're putting out a 3.3 with.
29:51.618 --> 29:54.419
[SPEAKER_02]: a play time that's probably going to be pretty reduced for most players.
29:54.959 --> 29:58.880
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but that being said, a month is actually, I would have done that a few times already.
29:58.900 --> 30:03.420
[SPEAKER_02]: I would argue that a month is a pretty long play time for most path of Excel players.
30:03.661 --> 30:09.222
[SPEAKER_01]: On a percent, most people who do role player, yeah, like two or three weeks, for the non-standard.
30:10.082 --> 30:10.962
[SPEAKER_01]: For you to stand at three weeks.
30:10.982 --> 30:12.862
[SPEAKER_01]: For you league slots.
30:13.482 --> 30:15.323
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm faithful, standard for life.
30:16.921 --> 30:24.006
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm a monogamous PewDiePie player, I get one character in a way we go, but I'm always thinking about other characters.
30:24.026 --> 30:34.373
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, so I think because especially because they're doing a path 1 and a path 2 event, I think because, I mean, part of the hint would be they're doing a path 1 event.
30:34.933 --> 30:40.538
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's gonna be like a whole path one when you say event you mean the league or what do you mean well No, they're doing the races, right?
30:40.558 --> 30:45.803
[SPEAKER_01]: So like they're doing qualifier event for path two race But then they're also doing one for path one race as far as I understood it.
30:46.024 --> 30:49.267
[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting that got otherwise They're having like eight billion qualifier events
30:49.927 --> 30:51.707
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think one of them surpassed one of them.
30:51.727 --> 30:53.528
[SPEAKER_01]: So they do in both races, XO kind of.
30:53.568 --> 30:57.329
[SPEAKER_01]: I think, I mean, if I'm paying it, I don't care about the races.
30:57.769 --> 30:58.789
[SPEAKER_01]: So, and I know they're huge.
30:58.829 --> 31:00.269
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's not a thing.
31:00.289 --> 31:01.770
[SPEAKER_01]: I just died, they don't mean just me.
31:01.790 --> 31:02.830
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't really pay attention to it.
31:02.870 --> 31:04.710
[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm pretty sure I've seen both paths one in paths two.
31:05.030 --> 31:07.231
[SPEAKER_01]: So if they are doing paths one, then that would be okay.
31:07.271 --> 31:08.391
[SPEAKER_01]: Here's paths one, we're doing this.
31:08.511 --> 31:10.932
[SPEAKER_01]: And hey, here's like, you know, they'll do a 30.
31:11.052 --> 31:12.552
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, everybody's there for path two.
31:12.592 --> 31:14.833
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's technically just X-I'll con.
31:15.053 --> 31:16.133
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not path two con.
31:16.213 --> 31:17.014
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
31:17.114 --> 31:19.935
[SPEAKER_01]: So on their planets to do both games, so it's going to be a rumble.
31:19.955 --> 31:29.402
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so for anybody going there, probably set your expectations to Cheer for both games, and so I'm sure the path one section will be like, and starting
31:30.725 --> 31:33.445
[SPEAKER_02]: No, you could just run for them to be able to do.
31:33.766 --> 31:34.186
[SPEAKER_01]: Why not?
31:34.226 --> 31:34.386
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
31:34.586 --> 31:36.246
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a cool fun.
31:36.406 --> 31:37.366
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's awesome.
31:37.606 --> 31:42.987
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're spending money to go there, especially if you're doing flight and all that kind of stuff, you can't really wind and boat.
31:43.087 --> 31:44.507
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess you can wind boat anything.
31:44.527 --> 31:49.948
[SPEAKER_01]: But why not that you don't get full access to the full league launch and you miss a note on League launch, like, hey, man.
31:49.968 --> 31:50.388
[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares?
31:50.408 --> 31:51.269
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to New Zealand.
31:51.289 --> 31:52.429
[SPEAKER_02]: Got Excel calls.
31:52.489 --> 31:53.569
[SPEAKER_01]: See in the Kiwis and, yeah.
31:53.789 --> 31:54.909
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
31:54.989 --> 31:57.990
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's all good and plus because past two is just around the corner.
31:58.010 --> 31:59.090
[SPEAKER_01]: That's like your most, like,
32:00.130 --> 32:02.794
[SPEAKER_01]: GGG's most guilt-free pressed the button.
32:02.834 --> 32:04.236
[SPEAKER_01]: It's live now business, right?
32:04.317 --> 32:10.185
[SPEAKER_01]: So I've really do it that way so that all the people who are like I can't play if it's not the first day of the league
32:11.010 --> 32:12.551
[SPEAKER_01]: don't worry guys, I'll take care of it for you.
32:13.151 --> 32:15.733
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be playing.
32:15.753 --> 32:17.915
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's that's my guess.
32:17.975 --> 32:19.636
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to do one of those things.
32:19.696 --> 32:22.298
[SPEAKER_01]: It'll probably just be a full fledged league launch.
32:22.878 --> 32:23.278
[SPEAKER_01]: I would guess.
32:23.298 --> 32:24.079
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it makes.
32:24.179 --> 32:33.025
[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's just shortened by a month or delayed just to coincide because I assume they're going to go back to the two and two and two and two.
32:33.825 --> 32:34.606
[SPEAKER_01]: Once they get going.
32:34.946 --> 32:35.126
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:36.627 --> 32:38.989
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably be rocky at the beginning.
32:39.049 --> 32:45.975
[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be a huge influx of feedback coming back once that's not a paid product anymore, and it's free.
32:47.096 --> 32:58.084
[SPEAKER_01]: And like everything and anything can change, and especially as they start adding new ascendancies and trying to have 30, was it's 36 different themes going forward.
32:59.025 --> 33:18.127
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, then that's the core of your game and then you've got to revolve like all your concepts around the ability of 36 different themes and so yeah I see a lot of changes coming so I think once they settled down it'll be go back to and to so I think The given themselves the leeway I think it'll be an ex-alkon announcement
33:18.476 --> 33:22.461
[SPEAKER_02]: I think as we're talking about this, I'm more into that as well.
33:22.521 --> 33:35.616
[SPEAKER_02]: I think I could see them pushing the Path of Excel 2, 3.3 to be a cool part of the announcement for Excel Con while also having Excel Con being a really good spot for them to hype up some of the new stuff coming from PuTwe2.
33:36.721 --> 33:45.830
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I would expect we'll see stuff about classes or things that we haven't seen yet that they're gonna announce it at so come that we'll be released with the POE 2 release.
33:45.930 --> 33:52.077
[SPEAKER_02]: I really hope so at least like I don't want I don't want to I'm actually torn now as I'm saying it
33:53.030 --> 33:58.873
[SPEAKER_02]: Because I don't know how much I want them to spoil of what's going to be there for puity too, but then at the same time, ExcelCon is the best spot to do it.
33:59.033 --> 34:06.978
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're going to do it, make it so that the people who went there and everybody watching, that there's this really exciting part of it, yeah.
34:07.638 --> 34:17.704
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the one of the frustrating things for them is that they're not doing a full release for the full release, right?
34:17.744 --> 34:19.385
[SPEAKER_01]: Like not all the content's going to be out.
34:19.485 --> 34:22.950
[SPEAKER_01]: Unless they're going to surprise us and that's the big surprise like all the sentences are coming.
34:23.090 --> 34:24.071
[SPEAKER_01]: All the acts are out.
34:24.191 --> 34:25.333
[SPEAKER_01]: All the ways to ascend.
34:25.353 --> 34:26.575
[SPEAKER_01]: They won't all the base types.
34:26.695 --> 34:28.437
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but I think that's going to happen either.
34:28.477 --> 34:30.460
[SPEAKER_01]: But on less, that's happening.
34:32.022 --> 34:36.508
[SPEAKER_01]: You aren't guaranteeing that anything's going to be ready except for swords and duelists.
34:37.633 --> 34:40.674
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but they could still have other things ready by that point, right?
34:40.694 --> 34:42.935
[SPEAKER_01]: For sure, but guaranteed that it's ready.
34:42.955 --> 34:46.616
[SPEAKER_01]: They're still treating it like a, okay, whenever it's ready, come on out, right?
34:46.676 --> 34:50.838
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's tough to guarantee when you haven't guaranteed that the whole game's going to be ready.
34:50.918 --> 34:56.800
[SPEAKER_01]: And you haven't actually had pacing, like, how long did it take for the druid to show up after they originally announced the druid.
34:56.820 --> 34:57.741
[SPEAKER_01]: It was like a year, right?
34:57.761 --> 35:01.722
[SPEAKER_01]: That, again, so it ended up being more difficult, okay, fine.
35:01.742 --> 35:03.203
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's just one of those things where it's like,
35:04.623 --> 35:09.386
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're probably learning a lot just from their last announcement that they did, right?
35:09.746 --> 35:11.707
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the .5.5 botch.
35:12.127 --> 35:16.610
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think, um... Nah, shoot it's gone.
35:18.480 --> 35:21.202
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's really good to reserve.
35:21.222 --> 35:23.724
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't really, I don't need teasers.
35:23.984 --> 35:25.005
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need trailers.
35:26.646 --> 35:37.695
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the one trailer they actually had for 5.5 or 0.5.5 was that little statue head that was in the ground and then it just raises and ends up being like a full city.
35:38.295 --> 35:42.138
[SPEAKER_01]: But that was just like the cut scene you get for starting end game kind of thing.
35:42.478 --> 35:45.901
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it really wasn't a spoiler but it makes you wonder and everything's going on.
35:47.242 --> 35:49.684
[SPEAKER_01]: I think would be really good going forward, especially once a week.
35:50.805 --> 35:59.173
[SPEAKER_01]: And then even just like, you need, in my opinion, you need acknowledgments about something like, hey, stay tuned for, like, it doesn't need to be anything.
35:59.193 --> 36:07.901
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't actually have to reveal anything, but actually communicate with an announcement once a week, until then, because now you're, like we said, two months into the path one league.
36:08.751 --> 36:14.194
[SPEAKER_01]: In a three month schedule, we're already like full fledged at teasers for the next path one league, right?
36:14.274 --> 36:19.937
[SPEAKER_01]: And even in a four month one, we're normally used to hearing teasers about the next game that's coming out, right?
36:19.997 --> 36:26.581
[SPEAKER_01]: There's always that right at that two month mark is when things start progressing from how they used to communicate to us.
36:26.621 --> 36:30.463
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it would be, I think it would be nice, but looking forward to X, I'll call no matter what.
36:30.903 --> 36:41.148
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we'll see that after XLCon, I think that time between November and December will start to see them getting pretty crazy with it, because I think their idea of this two months, two months, two months thing.
36:41.548 --> 36:43.429
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it didn't work very well for them.
36:43.469 --> 36:55.134
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it will work well for them as we go into the new year, and once Path of XL2's actually now out, and they can start progressing forward, I had a thought with regards to what they released.
36:55.274 --> 36:56.375
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't
37:02.107 --> 37:04.988
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we'll only, what was the word that you were just talking about with her?
37:05.008 --> 37:16.893
[SPEAKER_02]: So what they'll release, like, I think that they're, Path of Exile 2's release that's coming out on December 11th, I don't think is going to be the result of just what they've gotten finished up to that point.
37:17.033 --> 37:20.415
[SPEAKER_02]: I would bet that they are an absolute chaos mode because there are,
37:21.493 --> 37:48.021
[SPEAKER_02]: there are thresholds that are set where the team has said like these things will be in the full release that comes out on December 11th and so that I would guess that they're just in like crazy mode there right now to make sure that the things that they haven't announced anything which could host to them for not doing and so you know what that's decided to do something for you yeah sure I mean I guess our criticisms aren't like they should be it's just we're looking forward to it and we hope because I agree with you they've
37:50.162 --> 38:17.742
[SPEAKER_02]: better to say nothing than scribe and announcement a hundred percent and especially with this it's a very big deal for them like they need to make sure so I'll bet you there's stuff that they are committed to themselves to make sure that they have out and my hope would be that those things are in a ready enough state that some of it they can tease or show at XLcon I really really hope and I could be wrong and I am fine with in the end but I really hope that it always I hope or not just seeing swords and do list.
38:18.623 --> 38:20.385
[SPEAKER_02]: in the December 11th.
38:20.965 --> 38:21.326
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope.
38:22.087 --> 38:39.503
[SPEAKER_02]: I know that's probably the case, but there's part of me that just hopes that there's more than just those two things as I know there's obviously going to be a ton of new other stuff, but when it comes to like base types and even classes, I really hope that it's not just what we've been teased.
38:40.465 --> 38:42.186
[SPEAKER_02]: prior to the 0.5.5.
38:42.406 --> 38:44.908
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's actually nothing new that we didn't know, boom.
38:45.228 --> 38:45.408
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
38:45.568 --> 38:49.891
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm excited to see what they come out with when you're at XL, kind of things can be super fun.
38:49.971 --> 38:51.792
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope that they have some cool announcements.
38:51.912 --> 38:55.515
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope that it would be kind of fun for them to drop the league.
38:55.555 --> 38:59.957
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I feel like when I went to XL, Con, there was something that happened that year.
38:59.977 --> 39:07.702
[SPEAKER_02]: I've decided they announced POE, too, but I thought there was something that said, and you can play it, like, I thought you could play, or maybe it was POE mobile.
39:09.415 --> 39:09.915
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
39:11.355 --> 39:13.536
[SPEAKER_01]: Viewing mobile was also announced that's right at the same time.
39:13.736 --> 39:14.216
[SPEAKER_01]: I played it.
39:14.276 --> 39:14.896
[SPEAKER_01]: Viewing.
39:15.296 --> 39:16.036
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
39:16.676 --> 39:19.877
[SPEAKER_01]: They need to, I don't know what the situation is on that.
39:19.897 --> 39:30.459
[SPEAKER_01]: But they need to do a app companion instead that connects to their network and lets you plan and do all that kind of stuff, something that integrates to their build plan or thing.
39:30.499 --> 39:31.159
[SPEAKER_01]: That would be awesome.
39:32.480 --> 39:34.000
[SPEAKER_01]: They need an app companion app.
39:34.558 --> 39:36.779
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that there will be third party stuff for that.
39:36.839 --> 39:38.500
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think they ever went back there.
39:39.620 --> 39:40.440
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to.
39:40.620 --> 39:43.462
[SPEAKER_02]: Why bother, when somebody else can do it, tie?
39:43.562 --> 39:50.024
[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, now that we're talking through this, I think why you're a lifeless pregnant, probably does make sense to hold off till November.
39:51.165 --> 39:56.427
[SPEAKER_02]: For the 3.3, and then you just have like, hopefully a big player-based, excited, play and through POE 1.
39:56.567 --> 39:56.767
[SPEAKER_02]: And...
40:01.150 --> 40:05.633
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, and then you've got time to build up this hype while people are already playing your game.
40:06.433 --> 40:06.673
[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
40:07.334 --> 40:07.514
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
40:08.474 --> 40:09.075
[SPEAKER_02]: Are we fun to see?
40:10.536 --> 40:13.898
[SPEAKER_02]: But it is a bit boring, even though it's weird because we're only two months in.
40:13.918 --> 40:17.440
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's, I think it's because of this puy too league was bleh for me.
40:18.180 --> 40:19.741
[SPEAKER_01]: 0.5.5 was an elite.
40:19.761 --> 40:19.981
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
40:20.762 --> 40:21.803
[SPEAKER_01]: I have two characters.
40:22.063 --> 40:26.846
[SPEAKER_01]: One's in Runes of Aldeer and one's in, I don't know whatever this is.
40:31.218 --> 40:32.639
[SPEAKER_01]: but neither of them are unstandard.
40:33.499 --> 40:37.082
[SPEAKER_01]: I know I forget that every time I'm like, okay, I go to it, oh no, I can't let this one.
40:37.142 --> 40:40.684
[SPEAKER_01]: Where do I look, this one, okay, I'm just gonna go to all my characters, just gonna list them all.
40:41.204 --> 40:43.006
[SPEAKER_02]: I always say, I think isn't that by default what it shows?
40:44.019 --> 40:45.639
[SPEAKER_02]: All, at least it does on PC.
40:45.659 --> 40:46.160
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's easy.
40:46.180 --> 40:48.300
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it still does, unfortunately.
40:48.720 --> 40:54.662
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, instead of just the last menu you were on, it shows all, but it does, by default, highlight the last character you were playing.
40:54.882 --> 40:59.283
[SPEAKER_01]: So, right, technically, it doesn't, if you were going to play the same character, it doesn't matter.
40:59.303 --> 41:01.463
[SPEAKER_01]: You just, whole day and then away.
41:02.303 --> 41:02.963
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you play it all?
41:03.584 --> 41:10.065
[SPEAKER_01]: I did, yeah, I played lots and I go through gold, like crazy, changing my mind, figuring this game out and then by the time I'm like,
41:15.087 --> 41:16.408
[SPEAKER_01]: Xalcon's gonna change everything.
41:17.028 --> 41:19.029
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, cuz they're gonna dump golden bring back regrets.
41:20.370 --> 41:21.871
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, I like that.
41:21.891 --> 41:22.852
[SPEAKER_01]: No, don't do it.
41:22.872 --> 41:25.613
[SPEAKER_01]: But I like, no, I like, I changed my mind so much.
41:25.673 --> 41:27.995
[SPEAKER_01]: Gold is perfect for me in a game like this.
41:28.015 --> 41:30.036
[SPEAKER_01]: It does not ruin replayability.
41:30.076 --> 41:30.897
[SPEAKER_01]: It encourages it.
41:31.157 --> 41:32.498
[SPEAKER_01]: It keeps me in the game longer.
41:34.619 --> 41:35.540
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I played.
41:35.980 --> 41:41.123
[SPEAKER_01]: I went and I've made a lot of paper decisions and respect and then I'm like,
41:43.713 --> 41:51.516
[SPEAKER_01]: That was a back and forth man, back and forth, back and forth, so my original plan was to do this mythic kataba and then a pure minion tree.
41:51.957 --> 41:55.978
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd weapon swapped depending on if I want permanent minions or minion instability, but whatever.
41:56.558 --> 42:04.622
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I wasn't not like I had expectations, but I was hoping, and the mythic kataba just wasn't as defensive as I was hoping, except
42:05.202 --> 42:12.286
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, the things that it's protecting me from are things that are difficult to appreciate until you don't have them, right?
42:12.326 --> 42:16.528
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, crit protection, damaging ailment protection, that kind of stuff.
42:16.548 --> 42:18.108
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't realize it.
42:18.609 --> 42:21.110
[SPEAKER_01]: But then all of a sudden you play another character and they're like, what?
42:21.170 --> 42:22.030
[SPEAKER_01]: What's been was hitting me?
42:22.070 --> 42:23.031
[SPEAKER_01]: Where's it so hard?
42:23.151 --> 42:24.872
[SPEAKER_01]: But sometimes you don't even know that that's a crit.
42:24.932 --> 42:26.693
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know how that's the point, right?
42:26.713 --> 42:27.473
[SPEAKER_01]: So how do you know?
42:27.593 --> 42:30.294
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like one of those things that you'd always have to take for granted.
42:30.334 --> 42:32.235
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't really know how powerful it is.
42:34.581 --> 42:58.112
[SPEAKER_01]: show there's that but then you know there's that itch where it's like okay well as the smithic atob i'm missing out on a really big revive node for the minions because that's only on the witch tree um and then there's okay well maybe there's this i'm like ah you know what i'm actually not digging this style of minions so i'm just gonna do this but then add a whole bunch of yes on it i'm like all right cool let's do yes with that and i'm really liking that but then i start thinking like uh
42:59.272 --> 43:07.397
[SPEAKER_01]: The minion instability that I gave up with the smithicatava because I'm missing out on that revive node, it's just so much stronger than what I'm doing.
43:07.797 --> 43:09.818
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, ah, let's let's try that out.
43:09.838 --> 43:13.921
[SPEAKER_01]: So then I go over there and then I'm like bounce and back and forth and
43:14.701 --> 43:27.866
[SPEAKER_01]: So when I go from like a blast with me, with cursive, with cursive investment, to like no curs investment and doing a whole bunch of other stuff, self-casting, triggering with on minion death, then blah, blah, blah, blah, I'm all over the place.
43:28.687 --> 43:35.790
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I still haven't come up with with an idea, but I'll do like four maps with one, spend a bunch of gold, four maps with another, oh sorry,
43:44.862 --> 43:47.203
[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to my smith in my car, this feels so good.
43:47.223 --> 43:49.143
[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit slower, but man, it's comfy.
43:49.183 --> 43:51.324
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, I'm like, nah, now it's too slow.
43:51.364 --> 43:53.584
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I go back to the lich of my car, it's so fast.
43:53.684 --> 43:54.425
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I hate dying.
43:54.805 --> 43:55.645
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's so fast.
43:55.705 --> 43:57.746
[SPEAKER_01]: Or I don't like how often I have to cast in feeble.
43:57.826 --> 44:02.287
[SPEAKER_01]: And wish I could get all three curses out and serve just one until the boss.
44:03.560 --> 44:04.100
[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't.
44:04.200 --> 44:07.321
[SPEAKER_01]: And I need the other ascendancies because I just keep bouncing between.
44:07.341 --> 44:11.082
[SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, I'll do little things like all, but you know, what if I was the shaman?
44:11.102 --> 44:12.922
[SPEAKER_01]: I could have an extra 120 spirit.
44:13.042 --> 44:16.063
[SPEAKER_01]: I could blast for me and have a bunch of minions, right?
44:16.103 --> 44:18.283
[SPEAKER_01]: The tough part for me is like what I want to do.
44:19.124 --> 44:21.704
[SPEAKER_01]: Spirit couples with both mechanics.
44:21.764 --> 44:22.364
[SPEAKER_01]: I really like.
44:23.365 --> 44:24.145
[SPEAKER_01]: And it kind of suck.
44:24.165 --> 44:25.125
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'd love minions.
44:25.765 --> 44:28.167
[SPEAKER_01]: but I don't like how the temporary minions work.
44:28.407 --> 44:41.879
[SPEAKER_01]: The minions that I love and the things that I wished from past one, like automatically reviving that kind of stuff, that all requires spirit, but then sort of my oras and trigger skills and all that kind of stuff.
44:41.899 --> 44:44.701
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's, you know, just that kind of tough decision, make nothing.
44:44.722 --> 44:45.082
[SPEAKER_01]: It's bad.
44:45.102 --> 44:46.183
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just that's, that's, you know.
44:46.783 --> 44:55.127
[SPEAKER_01]: A conflict of my interests and so just bounce on like okay, well, if I do that then I'd have all the Extra spirit I need to do like three blasts with me.
44:55.147 --> 44:56.288
[SPEAKER_01]: So how awesome would that be?
44:56.328 --> 45:06.873
[SPEAKER_01]: But then I'm like, oh, if I'm the shaman I can't have three I can have two right because I'm not the litch right I can third node and so I don't need the extra spirit and then I'm like well, I could go back and be the smith and I could
45:08.293 --> 45:10.914
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm having an awesome time, like I'm really enjoying it.
45:12.835 --> 45:22.598
[SPEAKER_01]: I did discover, again, remember discover that there's on death damage for some mobs, again, and I'm like, I really thought like I would do that.
45:23.912 --> 45:27.375
[SPEAKER_01]: They went through a phase where they really cared about getting rid of it.
45:27.676 --> 45:32.921
[SPEAKER_01]: It was like early on, I remember it was like six months into the beta.
45:32.961 --> 45:36.224
[SPEAKER_01]: They were getting rid of a bunch of that stuff and there were certain modifiers.
45:36.244 --> 45:38.065
[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't putting with certain base types.
45:38.166 --> 45:43.931
[SPEAKER_01]: And if an enemy died, all their skills died with them, they sent the puddle to the ground.
45:45.112 --> 45:45.472
[SPEAKER_01]: those don't.
45:45.492 --> 45:52.017
[SPEAKER_01]: And then some of them explode and then a best just in general is just like so after the loyons all over the place.
45:52.397 --> 45:53.758
[SPEAKER_01]: But then after death I don't think.
45:54.238 --> 45:56.940
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but it's just like you're just like you're you're fighting.
45:57.441 --> 46:06.067
[SPEAKER_01]: Like step out of the green crystals and enemies and this and that and oh damn it that branch on the ground killed me because I can get out of the way.
46:07.528 --> 46:07.728
[SPEAKER_01]: So.
46:08.817 --> 46:13.603
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm having a good time with a Siri crafting and these bluff and leagues.
46:14.525 --> 46:17.789
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're all in the ruins of Aldeer or whatever.
46:17.809 --> 46:18.931
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get the new one.
46:19.331 --> 46:21.514
[SPEAKER_01]: One of the, we'll see there in 0.5 or 0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5.
46:21.534 --> 46:21.674
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
46:24.897 --> 46:37.886
[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, having a good time with it, and it's nice once you get into maps and you get a decent amount of gold in a map and then you get a couple of, you know, level 5 support gems or something like that.
46:37.946 --> 46:43.289
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, once you start racking those up later on, it's fun to kind of change your mind and try things out.
46:52.279 --> 47:05.610
[SPEAKER_01]: Living lightning is level four supports or sorry, level two and then level four zombies are just like right right here the beginning I'm still flip flopping with zombies just because they're so strong.
47:07.382 --> 47:09.024
[SPEAKER_01]: living lightnings turned out to be quite weak.
47:09.044 --> 47:25.120
[SPEAKER_01]: I was trying to use blasphemy and while I was clearing and then I'd go to minion instability when the boss was showing up and then I'd swap out of blasphemy, of course, and then just manually curse my curse or cast my curse as because they're permanent with the lynch.
47:25.400 --> 47:28.464
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'd have wicked damage because minion stability is really strong.
47:29.625 --> 47:30.305
[SPEAKER_01]: But, uh,
47:31.254 --> 47:51.738
[SPEAKER_01]: when I'm full of blasphemy and that's all my spirit and I only have two or three skeletons exploding living lightnings by only damage and it's okay it's like playing spark though honestly like it's bright like I keep like thinking like okay it's way easier than zombies because I just hold ball lightning down and I get all my living lightnings out no matter what all 10 of them.
47:52.798 --> 47:56.819
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so I can get tired so fast because it's just so bright.
47:56.859 --> 48:00.420
[SPEAKER_01]: I have all my settings cranked as low as possible or clicked off.
48:00.460 --> 48:03.520
[SPEAKER_01]: The best that I can to dull it the best I can is just like playing Spark.
48:03.600 --> 48:09.021
[SPEAKER_01]: So even though it's a lot easier to stay alive because I have nothing to think about.
48:09.141 --> 48:12.622
[SPEAKER_01]: I just hold right trigger which is ball lightning and then dodge and ever I feel like it.
48:14.863 --> 48:16.603
[SPEAKER_01]: I might have to go back to zombies because they don't
48:18.187 --> 48:20.730
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't splash the screen with crazy, crazy color.
48:20.770 --> 48:25.715
[SPEAKER_02]: So, I was even going to be like, I don't remember being like super bright.
48:25.795 --> 48:27.476
[SPEAKER_02]: But that's probably different.
48:27.576 --> 48:29.839
[SPEAKER_02]: Like my level of what brightest is going to be different than yours.
48:29.899 --> 48:31.300
[SPEAKER_02]: So I probably just see it.
48:31.821 --> 48:32.742
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
48:33.042 --> 48:35.584
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I am using ball lightning as well, right?
48:35.625 --> 48:36.706
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I need to know.
48:36.726 --> 48:37.807
[SPEAKER_01]: So I could be using.
48:38.427 --> 48:41.129
[SPEAKER_01]: something physical and add lightning attunement to it.
48:41.329 --> 48:50.634
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I was using power siphon with lightning attunement before, but I don't have the cast speed to make it to maintain the cap of living lightning, right?
48:50.954 --> 48:55.277
[SPEAKER_01]: So did you find it as bright then or do you think it is more related to the ball lightning?
48:56.742 --> 49:02.445
[SPEAKER_01]: They, it's together, but I did find, like, so living lightning's not bright when you're just walking around.
49:02.485 --> 49:05.246
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just these two, three little bots running around beside you.
49:05.886 --> 49:09.248
[SPEAKER_01]: But as soon as like they get into a tack mode, their attack is like shooing.
49:09.468 --> 49:12.529
[SPEAKER_01]: And it looks like a like a lightning strike, you know what I mean?
49:12.669 --> 49:14.950
[SPEAKER_01]: It's, they get a big trail, but then they have three of them.
49:14.970 --> 49:19.272
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's jujjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
49:25.495 --> 49:36.942
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I like it and I mean, level two with the exception of increasing the cap doesn't really change anything for me because It scales of strength which I'm not really doing but Um
49:37.955 --> 49:38.455
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we'll see.
49:38.716 --> 49:40.477
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking forward to seeing more of these skills, too.
49:40.517 --> 49:45.201
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it would be nice to have more temporary minion options and like it, I don't know.
49:45.901 --> 49:46.182
[SPEAKER_01]: Be nice.
49:46.402 --> 49:56.290
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking, I would love to see the skill screening crease, but I know that's probably not a priority for them for launch because there's just so many skills that are missing for just regular base types in general.
49:57.151 --> 49:59.152
[SPEAKER_01]: So over time, this is what I'm talking about.
49:59.432 --> 50:02.295
[SPEAKER_01]: As they start adding skills, each league, that kind of thing.
50:02.915 --> 50:04.737
[SPEAKER_01]: I assume you didn't play it, though, you've been playing well.
50:05.478 --> 50:07.400
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have anything pulling me into view here right now.
50:07.420 --> 50:07.861
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm not.
50:08.502 --> 50:11.145
[SPEAKER_02]: Path of Exile 2, it was not a league.
50:11.185 --> 50:12.346
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't, it was nothing.
50:12.386 --> 50:15.049
[SPEAKER_02]: I had already played 0.5 and, or 0.5.
50:15.169 --> 50:17.132
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember whichever one I'd played before that.
50:17.452 --> 50:18.553
[SPEAKER_02]: And I played that one a lot.
50:18.774 --> 50:19.895
[SPEAKER_02]: And so then I played this one.
50:19.935 --> 50:23.920
[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, we talked about it unless you like ritual, unless that's your thing.
50:23.940 --> 50:25.321
[SPEAKER_02]: There wasn't a whole lot more to,
50:26.362 --> 50:28.223
[SPEAKER_02]: Drag me back in you.
50:28.623 --> 50:29.803
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about Uniques.
50:30.063 --> 50:45.807
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like damage that the towers do, you know the blood waves or the Chaos waves or the water waves and I don't like all the trees that are always in the way of my stupid circle So I don't click them
50:46.487 --> 50:50.811
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just don't, I think they're, I think they were cool in the campaign.
50:50.851 --> 50:57.656
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they should be moved my in my opinion more to what they were in the campaign in maps.
50:57.676 --> 50:59.678
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't think the idea of just dumping uniques.
50:59.858 --> 51:01.679
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've said this before, so I'm not even getting into it.
51:01.699 --> 51:05.382
[SPEAKER_02]: But I just don't, the rewards weren't good enough for me to want to play rich holy.
51:05.983 --> 51:08.044
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll give you the rarers to peruse.
51:08.825 --> 51:19.360
[SPEAKER_02]: It was, yes, it was cool in the campaign because it had a theme to it, but you fight these bosses and you get to this big real, you know, four-boss battle.
51:19.681 --> 51:20.783
[SPEAKER_02]: Super cool.
51:20.983 --> 51:23.426
[SPEAKER_02]: In maps, it actually got like,
51:24.027 --> 51:25.449
[SPEAKER_02]: Another, of course, is a ritual.
51:25.469 --> 51:27.811
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a ritual in every map like I just don't want to do them anymore.
51:28.552 --> 51:32.276
[SPEAKER_02]: So I think it just burnt me out of what it was.
51:32.416 --> 51:33.477
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm fine with that.
51:33.497 --> 51:36.821
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm, let me build up my excitement for a couple months.
51:37.001 --> 51:39.503
[SPEAKER_02]: I will play 3.3 whenever that comes out.
51:39.523 --> 51:41.886
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm still thinking purely one is such a fun game.
51:41.906 --> 51:43.227
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's in such a good spot.
51:43.267 --> 51:44.208
[SPEAKER_02]: I do really enjoy it.
51:44.268 --> 51:46.130
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm looking forward to whatever they do with that.
51:46.231 --> 51:46.491
[SPEAKER_02]: But.
51:47.957 --> 51:49.478
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's a wow forever.
51:50.518 --> 51:53.720
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not, you know, while today, it's forever.
51:54.040 --> 51:54.780
[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
51:54.820 --> 51:55.981
[SPEAKER_02]: That being said, I know.
51:56.261 --> 52:01.503
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna have so much fun playing it and I will be done in, don't forget to cancel your subscription.
52:02.044 --> 52:04.745
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe if I just don't buy a subscription, then I don't have to worry about it.
52:06.243 --> 52:14.908
[SPEAKER_02]: Because you have first month for free, no, because I paid to play, I paid you have to buy the game and the game came with one month for free.
52:15.448 --> 52:16.388
[SPEAKER_01]: How to resubjust?
52:16.789 --> 52:17.289
[SPEAKER_01]: Are you in danger?
52:17.309 --> 52:17.849
[SPEAKER_01]: Not turned on.
52:19.330 --> 52:19.610
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at you.
52:19.630 --> 52:20.531
[SPEAKER_01]: Not turned on yet.
52:20.971 --> 52:21.571
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll respawn.
52:23.372 --> 52:28.358
[SPEAKER_02]: What I used to do is I would buy it like for three months because I'd be like, oh, they're giving me a deal if I buy three months.
52:28.778 --> 52:30.040
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, fine, I'll buy three months.
52:30.881 --> 52:32.463
[SPEAKER_02]: Then you'd leave it then I'd forget.
52:32.943 --> 52:35.987
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 10 years later.
52:36.227 --> 52:40.011
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm I'm chill and I'm waiting to see what they come up with with three months.
52:40.051 --> 52:41.052
[SPEAKER_02]: I would like to see them.
52:42.452 --> 52:46.596
[SPEAKER_02]: hype anything right now like build up xlcon.
52:46.616 --> 53:06.392
[SPEAKER_02]: If you're not going to build up you know if if puy 3.3 is not going to come out sorry puy 1 3.3 is not going to come out before xlcon and the whole goal is to come out with an announcement and for fun at xlcon then start hyping up the fact that xlcon's got like it's coming for a month away and there's some I know that they've got
53:08.314 --> 53:10.055
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that the race is appealed to everybody.
53:10.175 --> 53:13.657
[SPEAKER_02]: I watched the races when I was in at the first sex I'll come.
53:13.717 --> 53:15.018
[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought they were really cool.
53:15.078 --> 53:20.201
[SPEAKER_02]: The idea of like, it was fun to watch people see who who did well, who didn't do well.
53:20.301 --> 53:23.462
[SPEAKER_02]: But I didn't know what the fuck was happening.
53:23.963 --> 53:24.763
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and that was fine.
53:24.783 --> 53:25.363
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't need to.
53:25.523 --> 53:32.067
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't need to understand like, what is the most optimized way to get through it?
53:32.207 --> 53:33.328
[SPEAKER_02]: And I like that was fine.
53:33.348 --> 53:34.588
[SPEAKER_02]: But it was fun to watch somebody do it.
53:35.409 --> 53:36.850
[SPEAKER_02]: But that can't be your only hype.
53:37.748 --> 53:52.423
[SPEAKER_01]: you know going up towards uh... the exocon so i hope that we start to see something over the same part is that's all we're talking about but i'm just uh... coincide with what you're saying so far that's the only thing they're tweeting have you watched any of them i have it all they don't
53:58.117 --> 54:03.821
[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if they're well, they're like well, I don't say attended well viewed.
54:03.881 --> 54:05.742
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, I think so.
54:05.783 --> 54:09.365
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they're there there's commentary for them as well, which is which is fun.
54:09.585 --> 54:10.006
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
54:10.226 --> 54:10.826
[SPEAKER_01]: Love that stuff.
54:11.807 --> 54:14.188
[SPEAKER_01]: Not that stuff's for me, but yeah, I think that stuff's awesome.
54:14.209 --> 54:15.169
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad they do it, too.
54:15.569 --> 54:22.194
[SPEAKER_01]: I remember when BK was on all the time, she was really big into the racing stuff that's right, big part of trying to pioneer all of it.
54:22.234 --> 54:23.315
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
54:24.020 --> 54:24.921
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, that's really neat.
54:25.301 --> 54:27.744
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking forward to it, but yeah, it'd be nice to hear some stuff.
54:28.304 --> 54:35.592
[SPEAKER_01]: And it'd be really curious to see, like I'm sure people are just as curious about this release than they are for others, because they know the games coming out.
54:35.612 --> 54:39.656
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, they're like, there's no, what's this first XL cons announcement be?
54:39.896 --> 54:42.539
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the second XL cons, they're obviously announcing the game.
54:42.739 --> 54:43.820
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, they're not, you know what I mean?
54:43.840 --> 54:47.283
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what I wonder what the, this is just going to be informative.
54:47.424 --> 54:47.584
[SPEAKER_01]: But,
54:48.825 --> 54:53.129
[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like, unless they have to delay the game's launch.
54:54.310 --> 54:57.453
[SPEAKER_01]: You can't really go wrong with what's being announced.
54:57.973 --> 55:00.856
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we had this talk to you with the last with XOCON 2.
55:01.952 --> 55:06.234
[SPEAKER_02]: was the lead up to Xalcon 2, we had no clue what was coming.
55:06.434 --> 55:14.757
[SPEAKER_02]: And because Xalcon the first one had announced path of Xalto, there was this expectation of like, oh, a path of Xalto is ready.
55:14.777 --> 55:28.943
[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna be playing it, blah, blah, blah, like there was all this hype around what path of Xalcon 2 was gonna be, and then to their credit, they just did a good job of making not a whole lot exciting, like there wasn't this big,
55:30.162 --> 55:41.607
[SPEAKER_02]: release there wasn't this big announcement or anything epic and which was cool for them to be able to then continue the Excel cons without an expectation of like huge announcement coming with it.
55:42.188 --> 55:47.110
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we're actually at that point even with this Excel cons 3 because the big announcement already happened.
55:47.550 --> 55:49.271
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got December 11th as the date.
55:51.192 --> 55:55.174
[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder why they didn't wait to announce the path of Excel to release date to Excel cons.
55:55.194 --> 55:56.895
[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder, do they really need that
55:58.190 --> 56:12.456
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, or, yeah, I would ever, I mean, it's all, there's, it doesn't change anything now, but I think there was those bonds from, yeah, I don't know, aside, I feel like a massive release that's taken like, over half a decade.
56:13.397 --> 56:14.517
[SPEAKER_01]: You want that date out there?
56:15.678 --> 56:18.279
[SPEAKER_01]: You want people to plan around it, you want people to be hyped up.
56:18.299 --> 56:19.679
[SPEAKER_01]: More than a month to expect it.
56:20.480 --> 56:20.700
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
56:21.520 --> 56:23.421
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure, I think it could have been cool to have.
56:23.541 --> 56:28.163
[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of wonder in my part of me wonders because the pad of Excel 2 announced it for December 11th.
56:28.563 --> 56:33.406
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm quite certain was released at the same time that they announced the swords and dulyst, right?
56:34.686 --> 56:41.269
[SPEAKER_02]: Which was also at the exact same time where they announced the fact that POE 2's next league was going to be no six months away.
56:41.430 --> 56:46.632
[SPEAKER_02]: Blah, it was the same time that 0.5.5 was announced which was just a ritual league.
56:46.652 --> 56:50.034
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I wonder if it was because they were like shit, we didn't, we don't have a,
56:50.754 --> 56:52.897
[SPEAKER_02]: good and under if they panic with the release date.
56:53.177 --> 57:06.574
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, kind not I'm not saying panic then I could be completely wrong, but if they know that 0.5.5 is going to come out as just a high thing because they didn't have the ability to do all their passes and all their things they wanted to do, they can tell you about the,
57:07.375 --> 57:12.940
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I just feel like finding out that Path of Excel 2 is going to be December 11th, that great timing wise was awesome.
57:13.480 --> 57:18.604
[SPEAKER_02]: Why did you tell me about the dualists and the swords right before a league that it wasn't going to be in?
57:18.825 --> 57:20.566
[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't that part doesn't make any sense.
57:20.606 --> 57:21.226
[SPEAKER_01]: No, yes.
57:21.527 --> 57:26.191
[SPEAKER_01]: And part of the RFAQ needed to explain no dualists and swords are not coming out this league.
57:26.231 --> 57:27.712
[SPEAKER_01]: They're being saved for the final league.
57:27.732 --> 57:28.793
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it should have been announced.
57:28.873 --> 57:33.136
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, not let me go say, I do rap because it's kind of like, they didn't have stuff.
57:33.657 --> 57:33.877
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
57:34.337 --> 57:37.080
[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah, I think that is a big part of it.
57:37.781 --> 57:45.028
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it would have been cool to have announced it all up at XLCon, and so, but what it does mean for them now is we're coming in to XLCon without...
57:46.425 --> 57:56.013
[SPEAKER_02]: There isn't, I can't, I mean, they could do whatever they could completely surprise me, but I can't think of some major announcement that's coming with the ExcelCon, which is fine.
57:56.033 --> 58:06.202
[SPEAKER_02]: That's, I think that's good, because I like the idea of them continuing on with ExcelCon as a plan for the future without always an expectation of a major, or a major release.
58:08.848 --> 58:36.808
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I really I really hope they're comfortable with their full launch they will be always gonna feel panicky for something but like yeah that dualist thing I think it was announced to early it was a in my opinion dumb time in like don't do it right with a league that's not going to have it it was super confusing even for like we play all the time I still didn't find it super clear as to what was happening but part of me wonders if maybe that was going to be more
58:38.154 --> 58:44.296
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, see, that's the thing the sucks has had it been exalcon and they announced the dualists.
58:44.316 --> 58:45.396
[SPEAKER_02]: They announced swords.
58:45.436 --> 58:49.317
[SPEAKER_02]: They announced that people at exalcon, you get to play the dualists in the swords.
58:50.237 --> 58:51.538
[SPEAKER_02]: We're coming out December 11th.
58:51.578 --> 59:00.360
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that, the dualists in the swords would feel probably cooler when you're only one month from the release versus
59:01.627 --> 59:05.330
[SPEAKER_02]: whatever it was three months before the release, three or four months.
59:05.570 --> 59:14.576
[SPEAKER_02]: And because now it sucks a kind of for them that my expectation as a completely unfair gamer is, well, you already told me about the dualist in the swords.
59:14.616 --> 59:15.156
[SPEAKER_02]: Those are done.
59:15.516 --> 59:15.897
[SPEAKER_02]: What else?
59:17.967 --> 59:22.191
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't think that's the customer being outrageous.
59:22.591 --> 59:33.341
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's well, they say you have a convention like I guess, okay, so that's that's how you can fail xlcon that's how you can fail xlcon is that there's no other ascendancy
59:42.149 --> 59:44.971
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you should go text.com for announcements though, right?
59:45.271 --> 59:47.793
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going there to find out what the next thing is.
59:47.913 --> 01:00:01.702
[SPEAKER_02]: You're going there because it's what a cool opportunity to go to a convention with hundreds of other people who are loving the video game that you love to play, supporting the company that you want to support, obviously, see in a beautiful city in country.
01:00:02.763 --> 01:00:03.943
[SPEAKER_02]: But like that's what you're going for.
01:00:04.083 --> 01:00:07.606
[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody's going to excel conquers like I want to be the first to find out what the announcement is.
01:00:08.896 --> 01:00:09.696
[SPEAKER_01]: No way.
01:00:09.816 --> 01:00:10.837
[SPEAKER_01]: No way.
01:00:11.057 --> 01:00:13.598
[SPEAKER_01]: What convention exists without announcements?
01:00:15.139 --> 01:00:19.221
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying without announcements, but major like anything major or big.
01:00:19.661 --> 01:00:28.865
[SPEAKER_02]: But the thing is, Excel cons this third one, a major announcement, in my opinion, is just fine if it's 3.3 is dropping tomorrow.
01:00:29.005 --> 01:00:32.187
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that to me is, I think that that is fine.
01:00:32.427 --> 01:00:34.368
[SPEAKER_02]: I would love to see that there is more coming.
01:00:35.468 --> 01:00:45.540
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm nervous that if there isn't another class or is it more base types that they blew the load early with trying to cover for .5.5.5, it would just surprise me.
01:00:45.720 --> 01:00:53.068
[SPEAKER_02]: It feels kind of like maybe that was meant to be held off and they needed something sooner, but I'm hoping I'm completely wrong and maybe they're like kidding.
01:00:53.909 --> 01:01:05.107
[SPEAKER_02]: Here's some more surprises for you at XLCon, which maybe that's why we're also not hearing from them right now, because even their social media team is busy coding and designing and doing stuff because they've pulled everybody from communications.
01:01:05.227 --> 01:01:05.507
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
01:01:06.329 --> 01:01:07.711
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to teach you how to do stuff.
01:01:09.153 --> 01:01:10.053
[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I'm the best.
01:01:10.553 --> 01:01:10.753
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
01:01:11.073 --> 01:01:15.254
[SPEAKER_01]: As a gamer, I know exactly what I'm hoping for, but I wish them the best.
01:01:15.895 --> 01:01:16.835
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna play it no matter what.
01:01:16.855 --> 01:01:25.997
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just, I mean, I know it will go fine for them in the end, and I think ExcelCon's gonna be a cool event, and I think purely ones, 3.3 legal price.
01:01:26.077 --> 01:01:28.438
[SPEAKER_02]: As long as it's not ritual, I think it will be just completely fine.
01:01:30.358 --> 01:01:32.118
[SPEAKER_02]: But I died dead.
01:01:32.278 --> 01:01:35.219
[SPEAKER_02]: That made me laugh even to myself when I was writing it in Discord,
01:01:39.440 --> 01:01:42.544
[SPEAKER_02]: Because they're in a rush for few we do they're like, well, surprise.
01:01:42.564 --> 01:01:50.872
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a brand new ritual event for POE1 things you've never seen before I hope the word underestimated.
01:01:51.533 --> 01:01:52.013
[SPEAKER_01]: It'll come up.
01:01:52.874 --> 01:01:58.480
[SPEAKER_01]: It does not come up once leading up to the convention nor is it?
01:01:58.540 --> 01:02:00.362
[SPEAKER_01]: They won't judge at the convention
01:02:01.804 --> 01:02:10.250
[SPEAKER_02]: The only time I'll bet you here at a convention, and it's in a spot where it's completely fine, and I hope you go to as many as you can, is the sessions where their team talks.
01:02:11.091 --> 01:02:27.142
[SPEAKER_02]: And does, where they talk about how they do the graphics and the music and the sound, that's a fair spot, because then you're hearing the story of what got them to where they're at, but as a mark or a Jonathan, new, you can't use that word on stage.
01:02:28.163 --> 01:02:29.123
[SPEAKER_02]: but a designer sure.
01:02:29.544 --> 01:02:32.305
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's cool because they're telling the story of how they got to where they're at.
01:02:33.005 --> 01:02:35.526
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so, but it'll be fun to at least see.
01:02:35.566 --> 01:02:41.629
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited that you're going to be their first hand to like hear it and find out and then decide if there's any point coming home.
01:02:44.310 --> 01:02:49.332
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yeah, the kids still don't know their missing two weeks of school.
01:02:49.953 --> 01:02:51.013
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, did they know they're going?
01:02:52.705 --> 01:03:00.987
[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be exciting and so it's only a month away now like I would message learners to them like hey One month till we go that is cool.
01:03:01.007 --> 01:03:01.747
[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't know it is.
01:03:01.967 --> 01:03:06.548
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that you ever told me they didn't know So I'm really glad I never spoiled something back sitting now.
01:03:06.668 --> 01:03:07.068
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get it.
01:03:07.088 --> 01:03:10.689
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you and But I got to talk to the teachers now.
01:03:10.749 --> 01:03:21.692
[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope and they will have three teachers all over us too Tell them I know all it takes is one test the day you're gonna sign them out in the app and be like we're going for a week
